Candidates must have an eye for detail and consistency in making our delicious waffles.
This position will report to the Production Supervisors.
This is an important role and the candidate must be flexible, energetic and willing to step up when needed to keep things moving as we grow.
In becoming an expert in our process, the candidate must be open to learning and constructive feedback.
We are driven by making the best product, not by individual egos.
Reliability and punctuality are basic yet critical expectations.
No jewelry, including facial piercings, allowed during work hours.
Responsibilities and Duties Be consistently on time and reliable to the team Be a positive presence in our kitchen Be an expert in our process and in making our product Ensure that safety and cleanliness practices are being implemented Complete required process documentation Put the needs of the company first in conflict resolution if they arise Help maintain the facility for safety and cleanliness Ensure GFCO and other certifications are being met or exceeded by the staff Help create and maintain an energetic, fun team culture Qualifications and Skills Ideal candidate has experience in baking, cooking or food manufacturing Certification/strong experience with safe food handling practices are preferred Experience with DOA/FDA food inspection experience a plus Able to lift 25# and co-lift heavier quantities of materials/ingredients Culinary or Baking degree experience is valued Understanding of food allergens Job Types:
