This is a 500,000 square foot manufacturing facility responsible for full-cycle manufacturing of health and beauty care products such as fragrances, lotions, OTC sanitizers, and more.
Job Overview:
Work in the Weigh Room Department in a manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives Ensure procedures, protocols and policies are understood and followed Review approved completed batch weigh outs Ensure that equipment is cleaned according to protocol and procedures Ensure all equipment activity and use logs are current and correct Duties must be performed safely and under current safety requirements Work with team to ensure all equipment is operated safely and under current safety requirements Follow requirements outlined in the current Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Understand process instruction (batch sheets) and ensure you have a complete understanding of the weighing process Check and verify weigh outs of raw materials Check and verify raw materials Any other duties as assigned Required Skills & Abilities:
To be successful in this role one will need to be computer proficient Have a keen eye with attention to detail and accuracy Exceptional organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a problem solver, and a willingness to learn the consumer products business Education &
Experience:
High School diploma and excellent math skills with the ability to handle raw material safely General understanding of quality, sanitation, safety, cost management, waste control and raw material, is preferred Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing Must be detailed oriented, hand eye coordination Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
