Maintenance Technician




Reports To:
Facilities Manager



This is a position that requires special skills and / or schooling. These skills require technical training in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Carpentry, Metalworking and applications, Plumbing, Conveyors and Electric forklifts. Qualified candidates must possess skills in a minimum of two of these areas and must be able to read and understand schematics and possess troubleshooting skills. The pay for this position is established by the specific skills required and the amount of training and experience that the individual possesses and is not altered by the probationary period.



  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Able to work with little supervision or unsupervised at times
  • Knowledgeable in small repairs and advance technical skills
  • Carpentry skills
  • Must be flexible and be able to multi-task as projects are frequently interrupted due to a priority basis
  • Prior experience in the maintenance field mandatory
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Capable of understanding what needs to be done and doing it quickly
  • Must be clean, organized and tidy
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Fabricate materials and build items
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Able to use a multi meter to check circuits
  • Capable of handling on call issues and respond to them

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
